It can quickly and effectively measure the content of ferrous metals, aluminum, copper, stainless steel, nickel, and gold. After completing the testing of the sample, the screen will display a clear brand ID and comparative information of light elements such as magnesium, aluminum, and silicon. At the same time, the SDD detector of the handheld spectrometer can distinguish alloys of similar grades such as 303 and 304 stainless steel, 6061 and 1100 aluminum, and accurately complete identification.

The Vanta Element-S handheld spectrometer has passed the IP54 rating standard, with dust and moisture resistance, and has passed the MIL-STD-810G drop test from a height of 1.2 meters (4 feet). It will not be damaged by occasional drops or pushes and can operate continuously for 24 hours without pressure in the temperature range of -10 ° C to 45 ° C.

For the convenience of field operations, the Vanta Element-S handheld spectrometer is equipped with a stainless steel panel and a Prolene window with Kapton (polyimide) mesh backing. When it is necessary to replace the window during field work, the old window can be easily removed and the new window can be attached without using tools. At the same time, the handheld spectrometer is compact in size, weighing only 1.32 kilograms, making it easy to carry and comparable in portability to smartphones, greatly improving the work efficiency of operators.
