·On the transmitter nameplate, you can see the order number, such as 80M50-AS2BAAAA8, where 80 is the transmitter model, M refers to the sensor model (there are many types of sensors, such as common F-type, M-type, H-type, I-type, etc., each with its own characteristics, among which F-type can meet the needs of at least 80% of occasions), 50 refers to the pipe diameter, and the following string of characters is the specific order number, each with its own meaning, such as split or integrated, measuring tube material, etc., all determined by the following string of characters;
·When setting up an 80 transmitter, several factors need to be considered: the units of each variable (especially the units of mass flow and density), the range of the output variable (i.e. the upper and lower limits of the range corresponding to 4-20mA), and what variables need to be displayed on the two lines of the display screen;
How to set up the new E+H quality flowmeter 80E08 in Germany to work:
First, press the E key to enter, and the screen will display Measuring VALUES. Press the+key twice to display QUICK SETUP, then press the E key to enter;
In QS-COMMISION, change the option from NO to YES (indicating that quick settings are currently needed), press the E key to move forward;
In Language, display English, no need to modify, press the E key to move forward;
In PRE-SETTING, display ACT.SETTING, no need to modify, press the E key to move forward;
Under SYSTEM UNITS, MASS FLOW is displayed. Press the E key to move forward and t/h is displayed. You need to ask the on-site personnel whether to use ton/hour or kilogram/hour. If it is kilogram/hour, press the+or - keys to change it to kg/h and press the E key to move forward;
Under UNIT TOTALIZER (unit of accumulated mass flow), display t, which is the accumulated amount in tons. Ask the user if they want to change it to kilograms and press the E key to move forward;
At Other Unity? (Is there any other unit that needs to be set?) Select YES and press the E key to move forward;
Under SYSTEM UNITS, the default is VOLUME FLOW. Press the+key three times (the option starts flashing after the first press, and press it again twice) to display DENSITY. Press the E key to stop DENSITY flashing. Press the E key again to check if the unit is kg/m3 under UNIT DENSITY. If so, press the E key to move forward; If not, change to kg/m and press the E key to move forward;
Is the screen displaying 'Other UNIT' again? (Is there any other unit that needs to be set), change the YES option to NO with the+key (no further setting for other units), and press the E key to move forward;

However, some individual sites order two current outputs when placing an order. For example, if you need to output density and mass flow rate, you need to clarify this in advance. If you are not sure, you can press the+or - keys under this option to see if CURRENT OUTPUT 2 (current output 2) is available. If not, it is not ordered. If it is, you need to ask the user if they want to use it to output variables. Note: CURRENT OUTPUT 1 (current output 1) is available. Setting a value of 4mA is not possible for current output 2, so if current output 2 is used, it can only output mass flow rate, which means 4mA corresponds to a flow rate of 0 and 20mA Corresponding upper limit, such as 15000 kilograms per hour; The current output 1 generally corresponds to the density value. In ASSIGN CURRENT, check if the default option is DENSITY. If so, press the E key to move forward; If not, press the+or - keys, find DENSITY, press E to confirm, and move forward;
In CURRENT SPAN, the default option is 4-20mA? HART NAM., no need to modify, press the E key to move forward;
Enter the lower limit value of density (usually 1000 kg/m?) using the+or - keys under VALUE 0.4mA, and press the E key to move forward;
The German E+H mass flowmeter 80E08 uses the+or - key to determine the upper limit of density at a VALUE of 20mA (to be confirmed with on-site personnel); Press the E key to move forward;
Under TIME Constant, the default is 1 second. Regardless of it, press the E key to move forward;
In FAILSAFE MODE, the default is MIN. CURRENT. Don't worry about it, press the E key to move forward;
At Other OUTPUT? (Is there any other output?) At this point, we need to use what we just mentioned. How many current outputs are there? If there is a current output of 2, select YES here. Under SELECT OUTPUT, select CURRENT OUTPUT 2 (current output 2). Under ASSIGN CURRENT, select MASS LOW (mass flow). Enter the upper limit of the input range under VALUE 20ma. After the input is complete, it will return to Other OUTPUT (other output). Select NO to complete the process; ??? If two currents are not used on site, select NO directly here and press the E key to move forward. When prompted to BACK TO MENU, it will jump back to QS-COMMISION. Once the setting is complete, press the+and - keys together to exit to the menu;
At this point, the instrument can measure normally, but there are still some modifications to the screen display, such as displaying density values in the first row and mass flow rate in the second row, or displaying mass flow rate in the first row and cumulative amount in the second row. The user needs to be asked how they want to display it;
In the measurement state, press the E key to enter the menu and display Measuring? VALUES (current measurement value), press the+key approximately 5 or 6 times to display User Interface, press the E key to enter;
Under ASSIGN LINE 1 (allocate first line display content), use the+or - keys to find the variable that the user wants. There are many options in the variable options, and there may be several that may be used. Which one to use specifically depends on the user: DENSITY density, TOTALIZER 1 Accumulator 1 (which is the cumulative amount of mass flow), MASS FLOW mass flow, VOLUME FLOW volume flow. After finding what you want, press the E key to confirm. At this time, you will be prompted with ENTRY STORED (already stored and modified). Don't worry about it, it is just a prompt, and it will become ASSIGN LINE 1 (the first line displays variables, and the corresponding variables have been modified to the variables you just selected). Press the E key to move forward and display ASSIGN LINE 2 (allocate the real content of the second line). Just like the first line, ask the user what to display, find it, press OK, and then display FORM (format, which is a few decimal places). No need to modify, press the E key to move forward;
Display Damping, default is 5 seconds, no need to modify, press E key to move forward
CONTRAST LCD (LCD contrast), no need to modify, press the E key to move forward;
Backlight brightness, no need to modify, press the E key to move forward;
Test Display, no need to modify, press the E key to move forward; It will prompt 'BACK TO MENU' and automatically return to the menu. At this point, the settings are complete. Press the+and - keys together to exit.
