Unlike most dissolved ozone sensors, this instrument does not use a thin film sensor that will contaminate over time. Instead, the instrument uses a nearly complete approach2mLThe dissolved ozone concentration is measured by spray and integrated with the gaseous ozone concentration removed from the solution. Based on the time-domain profile of removing ozone from the solution, make minor corrections and apply them to calculate the concentration of any residual ozone in the solution. Because ozone is measured in the gas phase, the interference of particles, dissolved inorganic and organic compounds has been eliminated, making it applicable to both ultra pure water and "polluted" water, such as drinking water containing various dissolved inorganic and organic impurities and suspended particles.
