EPSILON+is a miniature measurement system used to measure the dielectric properties of fluid materials and complies with the DIN51111 standard. For example, the device can be used to characterize the dielectric properties of engine and gear oils as well as lubricating greases. Studying electric vehicle consumables is a typical application field, as the electrical/dielectric properties of fluids are crucial in high-pressure environments. Technical Specifications

Measure the dielectric properties of the material with a sample size of only 8mL. Fill the sample into a specific stainless steel container and heat it to the target temperature using a thermostat (optional). By setting, the system can also automatically execute temperature curves based on their respective thresholds. The dielectric properties of the test fluid can be measured within a short time interval.
working mode
EPSILON+is designed specifically for independent operation. LCD displays allow users to read measurement values more intuitively and access menus. In addition, it can be connected to a Windows computer via RS-232 (compatible with USB). Once the corresponding thermostat is integrated into the measurement settings, all functions can be made available. Through the analysis software provided by the system, the dielectric properties of fluids can be conveniently measured, recorded, and evaluated within a specific temperature range. It is also possible to output measurement values greater than 0-10V or 4-20mA through the device's analog interface.
clean up
The testing unit consists of a core sensor and a sample container with a spiral structure. Using appropriate cleaning agents can easily clean these two parts. (such as ethanol or other cleaning solvents)
Automatic sample temperature control
We offer two different thermostat options for measuring the dielectric properties of fluids at different temperatures. Each unit is controlled by EPSILON+devices, allowing users to perform automatic measurement activities on samples over a wider temperature range. The accompanying testing software provides options for different starting and ending temperatures, increments, and the number of repetitions for each isothermal line.
