Also known as desulfurization additive or desulfurization catalyst. A new type of catalytic oxidation flue gas desulfurization additive that uses polymer materials as the main raw material, undergoes physical and chemical processing, activation or modification, and is fully mixed with other inorganic polymer materials after strengthening and modification. It has a stable structure and performance, and its main components are mostly polymer catalysts, which have strong reaction activity with SO2. Due to the good stability of flue gas desulfurization additives, it meets the requirements of the desulfurization process.

It can improve the mass transfer efficiency of the absorbing medium in the desulfurization reaction process, reduce the operating energy consumption of some slurry circulation pumps, and stabilize or reduce the liquid gas ratio (number of mass transfer units) of the desulfurization system, enhancing the long-term safe, stable and economical operation of the desulfurization system.

To alleviate the operational difficulties caused by overload, unstable operation, and unbalanced absorption reaction of the desulfurization system due to high sulfur content in the incoming coal, in order to meet the requirements.

The addition operation is simple, easy to measure, and does not require modification of the original desulfurization equipment to improve desulfurization efficiency.

1. Product Features

① Improve desulfurization efficiency without the need for equipment expansion and renovation
Improve the gas-liquid mass transfer rate of sulfur dioxide, enhance the absorption of sulfur dioxide, and improve the desulfurization rate. At the gas-liquid interface, the catalyst can combine with a large amount of H+ions generated by the dissolution of SO2, allowing H+ions to be transferred from the liquid film to the main liquid phase. The pH of the slurry does not decrease too quickly due to the dissolution of SO2, and the gas phase resistance is reduced, promoting SO2 absorption.
② Energy conservation and consumption reduction (saving factory electricity)
On the premise that the inlet sulfur dioxide concentration of the desulfurization device is within the design range, firstly, some absorption tower slurry circulation pumps can be shut down to relatively reduce the required liquid to gas ratio of the system, lower the power consumption rate of the desulfurization system, and effectively reduce the operation and maintenance costs of desulfurization; Secondly, it can save energy consumption of the pulp system ball mill, effectively improve the utilization rate of coarse limestone (250 mesh), and basically achieve the same desulfurization efficiency as limestone with a particle size of (325 mesh).
③ Reduce the amount of limestone used
By increasing the utilization rate of desulfurizers and reducing their dosage, catalysts can enhance the solubility of limestone in the liquid phase and strengthen its dissolution. At the solid-liquid interface, the catalyst can provide an acidic environment conducive to the dissolution of CaCO3, reduce liquid-phase resistance, and promote the dissolution of limestone.

3. Usage method

Dosing point: It can be added at any point in the slurry circulation loop. It is recommended to add it in the desulfurization tower pit, stir it, and pump it into the absorption tower through the pit pump;

Dosage: Depending on the different Wet FGD systems and operating conditions, POLYMER technical engineers can recommend the dosage;

Precautions for dosing: The product is pumped into the desulfurization tower through the lifting pump in the pit, and the agitator in the pit is kept on to ensure uniform dissolution and diffusion of the reagent, providing a reaction environment for the full absorption of SO2.

4. Packaging and transportation

40kg/drum original sealed;

Ensure that the container does not leak, collapse, fall, or damage during transportation; It is strictly prohibited to mix and transport with oxidants, reducing agents, alkalis, edible chemicals, etc; During transportation, it should be protected from direct sunlight, rain, and high temperatures; After the vehicle transportation is completed, it should be cleaned;

Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse, away from fire and heat sources. Separate from oxidants, reducing agents, and alkalis, and avoid mixing storage;
