Special chemicals used for corrosion prevention, scale inhibition, sterilization, and microbial control in industrial cooling water systems effectively prevent scaling, corrosion, and biofouling of pipelines, heat exchangers, and other equipment by regulating the chemical balance of water quality, ensuring long-term stable operation of the system.

Main types:

• Corrosion inhibitors (such as organic phosphonic acids and zinc salts) form protective films on metal surfaces to slow down corrosion;

• Scale inhibitors and dispersants (such as polycarboxylates and copolymers) inhibit the precipitation of calcium and magnesium ions, preventing the formation of hard scale;
