——The 46AE is a free field microphone kit designed for acoustic applications. When the sound source position is known, the 46AE can be directed directly towards the measurement sound source with its guaranteed 0 ° incidence angle.

——The intermediate frequency range makes the 46AE an ideal comprehensive sound diagnostic device. At the same time, it complies with IEC standard 61094 WS2F and IEC Level 1 standard 61672.

——For the operating/usage temperature, please refer to the parameter table. If there are higher requirements for the usage environment temperature, it is recommended to use 146AE, which can operate/use temperatures up to 125 ℃.

——The pre polarization of 46AE is obtained by loading a dielectric on the microphone substrate under strictly controlled conditions, and then charging the dielectric to match the specific microphone sensitivity.

——The built-in preamplifier of 46AE is the standard preamplifier 26CA equipped with BNC connector, and it is designed based on GRAS's well-known circuit board base. GRAS circuit boards are renowned in the industry for their low self noise, wide bandwidth, and ultra-high conversion rates.

Calibration standard for 46AE:

——At the factory, all GRAS microphones have been debugged and calibrated using traceable calibration equipment in a controlled laboratory environment. Based on usage, measurement environment, and internal quality control plan, GRAS recommends that microphones should be calibrated at least once a year.

GRAS offers two calibration options as optional after-sales services: GRAS traceable calibration and GRAS certified calibration

GRAS traceable calibration is a traceable calibration performed by trained personnel under controlled conditions according to established procedures and standards, which is the same as the rigorous calibration of all GRAS microphones as a component of quality assurance.

GRAS certification calibration is performed by a GRAS certification calibration laboratory, which has been accredited with ISO 17025 by the Danish accreditation fund Danak.
