The Daniel 1200 series liquid turbine flowmeter is a volumetric flow measurement and transmission device widely used in the petroleum industry for precise measurement of liquid hydrocarbons. The flowmeter has a simple structure and is characterized by high flow rate, wide process, high precision, high repeatability, and reliability.
The excellent performance of this flowmeter for measuring light hydrocarbons is mainly due to its lightweight rotor. When the rotor rolls freely on the ball bearing, it has a self-cleaning function.
The 1200 series turbine flowmeter has a wide range of applications and can be installed horizontally and vertically. The extension bracket can center the internal components of the flowmeter within the body. The installation of turbine flow meters should consider adjusting the flow rate by using standard upstream and downstream straight pipe sections (according to API Chapter 5, Section 3) or rectifier discs. The 1200 series turbine flowmeter comes standard with a rectifier disc, suitable for sizes of 1.5 inches and above.
This flowmeter meets the requirements of API standard Chapter 5.3 (Measurement of Liquid Hydrocarbons with Turbine Flow Meter System) and API Chapter 4 (Volume Tube Calibration System).
