Overview

Anesthesia Experimental Animal Testing System - PFT (Pulmonary Function Testing System)
The PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) lung function testing system is mainly used for experimental animal lung function research and is an ideal tool for studying acute lung injury, COPD, and other conditions. Similar to the principle of human lung function testing, PFT can conduct a series of group experiments on anesthetized animals, automatically detect and analyze real-time data, and obtain corresponding physiological parameters of lung function. FRC testing requires animals to maintain autonomous breathing. Other tests can be conducted using instruments to assist breathing or in the state of animal spontaneous breathing.
Applicable species: mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, monkeys or other large animals
Main testing functions:
• Airway resistance and dynamic lung compliance (RC test).
Boyle's Law for functional residual capacity (FRC test).
• Relationship curve between quasi-static lung volume and lung pressure (Pressure Volume test).
• Relationship between respiratory flow rate and lung volume (FLow Volume test).
