Precision pulse control
PVX-4000-2kV is an air-cooled high-voltage pulse generator optimized for high impedance capacitive loads, which is highly suitable for providing driving voltage for the extraction grid and deflection plate of particle beam electrostatic modulation in time-of-flight mass spectrometers and accelerators.
system operation
The output voltage can be adjusted within the range of 0 V to ± 2000 V. The internal trigger source supports a duty cycle of 2% to 98% and a repetition rate of 40 Hz to 30000 Hz.
The device is equipped with a built-in trigger source and a built-in positive and negative high-voltage DC power supply, which can be used as an independent testing system. Programming operations can be completed through the front panel, RS-232, and USB computer interfaces.
When using an internal trigger source, the duty cycle will remain unchanged after adjusting the frequency, and the device will display a new pulse width. Suggest adjusting the frequency first, and then adjusting the pulse width.
When using an external trigger source, it supports pulse widths ranging from 500 ns to 100% duty cycle, as well as repetition rates from a single pulse to 100 kHz.

For automation application scenarios, comprehensive control of instruments can be achieved through RS-232 and USB computer interfaces. The internal non-volatile memory of the device can store up to 5 system configurations and quickly retrieve commonly used configuration parameters.

The front panel is equipped with a convenient BNC connector, which can achieve external triggering of PVX-4000-2kV, with a gate input impedance of 50 Ω.
The system is equipped with a synchronous output interface that can be interconnected with other devices. The synchronous output pulse is synchronized with the rising edge of the output voltage pulse, and the synchronous output impedance is 50 Ω.
After setting the oscilloscope to 1 M Ω terminal matching, the system can be easily monitored through the voltage monitoring BNC interface.
