Overview

SOLA-6 customized fixture for contact lens light irradiation aging test is a test fixture specially designed by Shanghai Langshan Optics for the S-1500e-CL and S-3000e-CL contact lens light aging testers. Each fixture can hold 6 samples for testing to evaluate the light aging of contact lenses during normal use. Meets the requirements of standards such as ISO 11985 and GB/T 11417.9.

Fixture features:

The entire fixture is made of aluminum alloy, stainless steel, and quartz glass, which are sturdy and durable.

The flat bottom design increases heat dissipation capacity and can also be placed on a water-cooled board to enhance heat dissipation.

Each set of fixtures can simultaneously test up to 6 samples, equipped with 6 far ultraviolet quartz containers that comply with ISO/GB standards.

The quartz container is equipped with a silicone plug and a clamping device, which can prevent the solution from overflowing during the test.

Each container is equipped with a V-shaped bracket for better positioning.

Precautions for use:

1. Inject an appropriate amount of standard salt solution into the quartz container.

2. Place the contact lens into the container.

3. Add standard salt solution to the container mouth.

4. Cover the quartz container with a silicone lid to ensure that there are no bubbles inside.

5. Place the quartz container loaded with contact lenses into the fixture.

6. Use hand screws to press the baffle onto the silicone cover until it is fully compressed.

7. Place it in the S-1500e or S-3000e test chamber and adjust the irradiation distance to around 295mm before conducting the test.
