working principle

TL-PMM180 is based on the principle of forward light scattering. The highly stable laser emitted by the laser is collimated and enters the measurement chamber. When the laser beam meets particles, forward scattered light is generated. The scattered light is received by a lens and introduced into a photodetector through a signal fiber. After ultra-high sensitivity photoelectric signal conversion, the scattered light signal is converted into an electrical signal proportional to the concentration of particles. Through a specific algorithm, the concentration value of particles is output.
