Product Details

Automatic online measurement of hydrocarbon dew point and water dew point in natural gas. For natural gas producers, pipeline carriers, and ultimate contract buyers, it is difficult to measure and control the dew point of hydrocarbons, but this is also the key to avoiding trade disputes caused by current strict terms and conditions. Accurate measurement and control of hydrocarbon dew point have become important topics at many gas quality conferences, including the American Petroleum Institute. Research groups, including independent organizations such as API in North America and GTE, GERG in Europe, are promoting the harmonization of various analytical methods to ensure consistency in actual measurements. These groups are evaluating the correlation between direct hydrocarbon dew point measurement and indirect analysis techniques, such as gas mining bureau manual models (BOM, direct observation), cooling sampling liquid phase determination (PHLC, gas-liquid conversion rate), and gas chromatography with software packages containing a large number of formulas. The direct cold mirror technology used by the Condumax instrument of Micellar is the most reliable method for measuring hydrocarbon dew point, and has become the product of most gas producers, pipeline carriers, and final contract buyers. Since 1986, early Condumax has enabled users to directly perform benchmark measurements, providing automatic online analysis, service without maintenance requirements, and unprecedented objective measurements. Condumax II is an enhanced version of the former, adding the latest features and utilizing validated professional measurement techniques. Condumax II enables users to standardize the measurement of hydrocarbon dew point, with easy installation, no maintenance required, and consistent results with cooling sampling liquid chromatography, laboratory gas chromatography, and direct observation methods.
