Pulse excitation technology refers to the use of appropriate external force to excite a specimen, giving it a continuous pulse wave. This resonant wave is transmitted through a testing probe or sensor and converted from an analog signal to a digital signal, which is then transmitted to a computer for analysis and processing to obtain the natural frequency of the material. The Young's modulus, shear modulus, Poisson's ratio, and damping ratio of the material are calculated from this frequency value.
