Principle of Positive Pressure Blowing

The blower forces air through the pipeline into the compost material, creating a uniform airflow. Air forms pores inside the material, keeping the pile in a fluffy state while promoting oxygen diffusion to the microbial activity area. This method can effectively dissipate heat, dehydrate, and the gas pipeline is not easily blocked, with an efficiency about 1/3 higher than negative pressure ventilation.

The high temperature and high humidity gas in the stack is extracted by a fan, but it may cause the material to be compacted too tightly, affecting the ventilation effect. Usually used in combination with positive pressure air blowing (mixed ventilation) to balance oxygen supply and exhaust demand.

In organic fertilizer fermentation, the blower requires continuous oxygen supply to maintain aerobic microbial activity and accelerate organic matter decomposition. For example, the static forced ventilation composting system controls the start and stop of the blower through timing or temperature feedback to ensure that the temperature of the pile remains stable below 60 ℃.

Operation and maintenance:

After installation, the blower should be manually rotated for the first time before starting to check for any abnormal collisions or friction, whether the rotation direction of the motor is correct, and whether the inlet and outlet valves are in a low flow state.

2. During the operation of the fan, attention should be paid to whether there are any abnormal sounds, oil leaks, abnormal vibrations, high bearing temperature, excessive motor current, loose feet, or other abnormal phenomena inside the fan and motor, and they should be eliminated in a timely manner.

3. After 5000 hours of use, the bearing grease of the fresh air fan should be replaced.

4. Maintenance: When inspecting the casing, first loosen the screws on the horizontal split surface, open the upper half of the casing and the upper covers of the bearing boxes on both sides, and remove the rotor to repair the rotor or casing. During maintenance, special attention should be paid to whether the impeller blades are broken, whether there are cracks, and whether the main shaft is bent. Before installing and dismantling the machine casing, it is necessary to be careful to avoid damaging the rotor due to the swinging of the upper half of the casing during the installation and dismantling process.

5. During the shutdown period of the fan, the inlet and outlet of the fan should be covered properly to prevent debris from falling into the fan cavity and causing accidents.

6. The fan needs to be inspected every six months to remove dust and oil stains from the fan flow channel.
