Working principle of combined oil fume purifier HD-D
The HD-D combination oil fume purifier is a combined product of a fan case and an oil fume purifier. The unit comes with a built-in fan, which changes the traditional oil fume purifier without an induced draft fan. Users need to search for manufacturers again to purchase.
Our company, based on the premise of considering customers and reducing their procurement costs, has developed a combination oil fume purification unit through continuous innovation by our technical personnel. The unit has the characteristics of easy installation, low procurement costs, and stable performance.

Installation Diagram

Precautions for installation of combined oil fume purifier
Serious warning: The electrical system of the oil fume purifier must be reliably grounded!
1. The ventilation volume inside the purification system should be within the rated processing air volume of the purifier;
2. The installation of the purifier should ensure that it is level, otherwise the oil collected by the purifier will be sucked out by the fan, or the oil inside the purifier cannot be completely drained when draining;
3. The air velocity inside the pipeline should be designed to be between 8-10 m/s;
4. The radius of the centerline of the elbow is ≥ 1.5D (if this condition is not met, the wind resistance of the variable diameter pipe will increase exponentially)
5. The angle between the inclined edge of the variable diameter pipe (small to large) and the axis is ≤ 70 (if this condition is not met, it should be considered to install a guide plate reasonably. Otherwise, the purification efficiency of the purifier will be greatly reduced and cannot meet the national emission standards). As shown in the following figure:

6. The angle between the inclined edge of the variable diameter pipe (large to small) and the shaft should be ≤ 150 (if this condition is not met, reasonable installation of flow deflectors should be considered. Otherwise, the purifier cannot achieve its maximum efficiency). As shown in Figure 6 (b)
7. There should be a straight pipe with a length of ≥ 2.5D before the air inlet of the purifier (if this condition is not met, reasonable installation of airflow distribution plates and deflectors should be considered, otherwise the purifier cannot achieve its maximum efficiency);
8. The fan should be equipped with a shock absorber;
9. Soft connections should be installed at the inlet and outlet of the fan;
10. The purifier must be reliably grounded (the purifier has 3 output lines, with the red and green lines connected to 220V/AC and the yellow and green lines grounded).
Wind direction issue
The equipment is set to have left air intake when leaving the factory (facing the door of the purifier electrical box, if the wind direction is from left to right, it is left air intake, otherwise it is right air intake). If right air intake is required on site, rotate the power plant 180 ° as shown in Figure 3 (the 27th mark is consistent with the actual wind direction), move the spring joint from bottom to top, and then swap the wires on 15 and 16 in Figure 2 to complete the process of adjusting from left air intake to right air intake.
power-on debugging
The purifier has three output lines, with the red and green lines connected to 220V/AC and the yellow and green lines connected to ground. The grounding resistance should be less than 2 ohms. Connect the power supply of the purifier. At this time, the red light of the purifier (shown in Figure 1, 3 and 4) will light up for 1 second, then the green light will light up, and at the same time, the red light will turn off. There is a slight continuous and stable static discharge sound, which is considered to be working normally.
During power on debugging, there are occasional intermittent high-voltage discharge sounds inside the purifier, which is a normal phenomenon. If there is a continuous "pop, pop..." high-voltage discharge sound, it indicates that there are foreign objects in the low-voltage area of the electric field (such as kitchen ignition paper scraps, residual debris in newly installed air ducts). At this time, the power of the purifier should be turned off, the electric field compartment door should be opened, the electric field should be removed to clean the foreign objects, and the purifier should be restarted after elimination. If there are any further abnormalities, please notify the repair station.
use
When the purifier is working normally, the electric field emits a slight, continuous, and stable static discharge sound, with the green light on (3 in Figure 1) and the red light off (4 in Figure 1);
During the operation of the purifier, occasional high-voltage discharge sounds of 'pop, pop' occur, which is a normal phenomenon The above phenomenon is the display of the automatic detection and troubleshooting process of the purifier for faults
3. If the green light and red light are on during the use of the purifier, it indicates that the purifier needs to be cleaned If not cleaned, the purifier will automatically detect and enter a protective state
4. If the red light is on and the green light is not on during the use of the purifier, it indicates that the purifier has entered automatic protection mode and stopped working After cleaning the electric field, the purifier can enter normal working state
5. The purifier should be regularly drained of oil to prevent oil leakage when the oil collection tray is full
The cleaning cycle of the purifier is 1-3 months (which can be extended or shortened depending on usage)
7. Non professionals are strictly prohibited from disassembling, debugging, and repairing the purifier. In case of malfunction, the power should be turned off in a timely manner and authorized professional maintenance personnel should carry out repairs
Cleaning and maintenance
Open the electric field compartment door after confirming that the power is disconnected, and sequentially remove each electric field.
(Attention: Do not damage any insulation parts on the electric field body or box during the above operations, otherwise replace them)
Components to be cleaned: high voltage insulators, electric fields, and conduit inside the chassis
High voltage insulator cleaning method: Wipe it with alcohol until it looks very clean
The electric field cleaning method is as follows:
1. Mechanical cleaning
A. Soak the extracted electric field body in an ultrasonic cleaning tank. The cleaning solution in the tank (prepared with 605+metal cleaning agent in a 1:10 ratio, preferably at a water temperature of around 80 ° C) should be immersed in the electric field for about 30 minutes (to facilitate cleaning):
B. Start the ultrasonic cleaner and clean for 30 minutes. If it is found that the cleaning is not completed within 30 minutes, the cleaning time can be extended appropriately
C. Rinse the cleaned electric field body with clean water, then place it in a ventilated place or in sunlight to air dry naturally. If necessary, use a hair dryer to blow dry the electric field (the degree of dryness should be based on the absence of visible water droplets in each part)
D. Using a 2500V megohmmeter to measure the resistance between the positive and negative poles, it should be>50M Ω as normal
2. Manual cleaning
A. Soak the extracted electric field body in a cleaning tank, and the cleaning solution in the tank (prepared with industrial caustic soda in a ratio of 1:20, preferably at a water temperature of around 60 ° C) should be immersed in the electric field for about 5 minutes
B. Remove the electric field body from the cleaning tank and rinse it with high-pressure water. The rinsing must thoroughly remove dirt Even if the components appear very clean, there may still be detergent residue Residual detergent can corrode aluminum plates, it is best to rinse with hot water
C. Place the cleaned electric field body in a ventilated area or in sunlight to air dry naturally. If necessary, use a hair dryer to blow dry the electric field (the degree of dryness should be based on the absence of visible water droplets in each part)
3. Install the components back into the purifier box as they are.
Common faults and troubleshooting
1. The red and green lights do not light up when starting up:
Check if the 220V power supply is connected;
Check if the fuse on the cleaning prompt controller is broken. If it is broken, replace it (2A);
Check if the air switch is closed;
2. The red light is on when starting up, and the green light is also on:
The input voltage is too low; Purifier overload; Electric field deformation; Insulation material breakdown.
3. In case of special circumstances, notify the repair station to repair.
