Overview

The Colibri multifunctional radiation measuring instrument is a highly compatible radiation measuring instrument with a built-in detector of energy compensated G-M tube. According to different application purposes, two different performance versions have been developed, the VLD version and the TTC version, which are suitable for lower and higher dose rate ranges, respectively. During the measurement process, Colibri displays dose rate results using semi logarithmic histograms and numbers, as well as cumulative doses.

Introduction

Colibri is a highly compatible radiation measurement instrument with a built-in G-M tube detector for energy compensation. According to different application purposes, two different performance versions, the VLD version and the TTC version, have been developed, suitable for lower and higher dose rate ranges, respectively. During the measurement process, Colibri displays dose rate results using semi logarithmic histograms and numbers, as well as cumulative doses.

Colibri can connect all Canberra smart probes (CSP probes) externally and can simultaneously connect up to 8 probes (1 connected via cable and 7 connected via Bluetooth) to obtain data. Colibri can display host data while displaying external probe data, and the probe can be replaced without shutting down ("hot swappable"). Colibri can connect to an external barcode/RFID recognizer via built-in GPS (optional) or Bluetooth, providing coordinate and other information for the measured data. When running in source search mode, the counting interval can be flexibly set. Colibri can transmit data and set instrument parameters through WiFi.
