The SYD-3536 Asphalt Cleveland Flash Point Tester is independently developed and manufactured by Shanghai Leiyun Testing Instrument Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in accordance with the national standards GB/T3536, ISO2592, ASTMD92, and IP36 for determining the flash point and ignition point of petroleum products (Cleveland Open Cup Method). It is used to determine petroleum products except for fuel oil and open cup temperatures below 79 ℃ (determined by this method). At the same time, this instrument also complies with the JTJ052-2000 standard for transportation.
Installation and use of SYD-3536 Cleveland flash point meter (Cleveland flash point meter)
1. Open the packaging box and inspect the appearance and related accessories of the instrument according to the complete set of instruments and technical documents. If there is no damage or missing, install according to the structural diagram.
2. Check if the power grounding is good.
3. Turn on the power switch, the indicator light will turn on, and then the test operation can be carried out.
4. Wash the sample cup with solvent, dry it, and install it on the bracket.
5. Install the thermometer and insert it vertically into the sample cup. The mercury ball of the thermometer is about 6.5mm from the bottom of the cup, and is located 16mm from the edge of the cup on the opposite side of the igniter.
6. After preparing the sample, pour it into the sample cup until it reaches the marked line, and ensure that the other parts of the sample cup are not stained with asphalt. (Note: The heating temperature of the sample cannot exceed 55 ℃ below the flash point)
7. All devices should be placed indoors in areas with low light and no significant air circulation, and enclosed on three sides with windproof screens.
8. Connect the igniter to a combustible gas full pressure vessel (such as liquefied propane gas or natural gas) with a hose, turn the igniter to one side, test ignition, and adjust the flame to the shape of a standard ball or a small spherical test flame with a diameter of 4mm ± 0.8mm.
