Product Description:
The determination of benzo (a) pyrene in animal and vegetable oils and fats was developed based on the GB/T 22509-2008 national standard method. The pre-treatment column in reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography was used. This purification column is based on the principle of chromatography column, which separates non-polar interfering substances in oils and fats from benzo (a) pyrene to remove interfering matrices in detection. BAP2260-0 is an upgraded product of the low background series, with a controllable ppb level background that meets the testing requirements for export products.
Cleanert®A new method for detecting benzo (a) pyrene in oil was developed by using BAP-3 solid-phase extraction column to extract benzo (a) pyrene from oily samples, followed by elution with dichloromethane. Compared with the method in the national standard GB/T22509-2008, this method has better oil removal effect, stable benzo (a) pyrene recovery rate, less solvent usage, and is more environmentally friendly. The method is also simpler.
BAP operation method:

*Attention: Do not let the column dry up during the entire operation process; When the benzo [a] pyrene standard is dissolved in acetonitrile, it is not miscible with the eluent, which can cause low recovery and instability. Dissolving the standard in toluene can solve this problem.
BAP-3 operation method:
Solid phase extraction column name: Cleanert®BAP-3 (P/N:BAP5006);
(1) For peanut oil, soybean oil, corn oil, sunflower seed oil, rice oil, sesame oil, blended oil, rapeseed oil, olive oil, the solid-phase extraction method is as follows:

(2) For sesame oil, Cleanert needs to be connected in series on BAP-3 ® Si silica gel solid-phase extraction column (500 mg/6 mL), activation and loading steps are the same as above. When rinsing, rinse the tandem column with 5mL of n-hexane first, then discard the silica gel column, and rinse Cleanert again with 5mL of n-hexane®BAP-3 column, followed by elution and concentration according to the above method.
