1Circulating water microcrystalline side flow water processorfunction
The ML-SCII-G series bypass comprehensive water processor is installed in the system main pipeline bypass, taking a portion of the circulating water for treatment. The treated water meets the standard and is then returned to the system for circulation, hence it is called bypass water treatment.
Side flow comprehensive treatment generally deals with suspended solids in circulating water, because suspended impurities brought into the system from the air, as well as sludge produced by microbial reproduction, and factors such as sediment, clay, insoluble salts, corrosion products, bacteria and algae in circulating water, and leakage of process media often increase the turbidity of circulating water. Simply increasing the discharge volume cannot solve this problem and is also very uneconomical. Due to the lack of bypass treatment in some factories, the turbidity of water always fails to meet the requirements, often ranging from 20-30mg/L, which affects heat transfer and causes corrosion. After adding a bypass processor to the system, the turbidity is kept below 10mg/L, and the amount of microorganisms and sludge is reduced. This shows the necessity of bypass treatment. For areas with high dust content in the air and systems with severe microbial sludge, the effect of setting up bypass treatment is particularly significant.
The method of bypass treatment is simple and easy to implement, and the effect is also good. Generally, a branch pipe is connected before the return water main enters the cooling tower, and this part of the water flows directly into the cooling water tank after passing through the bypass comprehensive water processor. For the handling of suspended solids, take 2% to 5% of the circulating water volume based on experience. If there is oil pollution in the water, it is not practical for the bypass water treatment device of the medium device, because the oil will quickly clog the filter medium.
When the following situations occur in the circulating cooling water treatment system, consideration should be given to setting up a bypass comprehensive water processor:
A、 Under the concentration factor determined by the design (especially higher concentration factors), the quality of the cooling water exceeds the allowable indicators (see attached table on page 9)
B、 Due to external pollution (such as airborne dust), leakage of process materials, and other pollutants

When using bypass filtration to treat suspended solids in an open circulating cooling water system, the filtered water volume should be 2% to 5% of the circulating cooling water flow rate or determined based on domestic operating experience, or calculated according to the following formula:
