Used to discover toxins on the air, ground, equipment, and other surfaces, identify the type of toxin, and determine the approximate concentration of the toxin in the air. There are various structural forms of devices, usually consisting of three parts: pipes, exhaust devices, and auxiliary components (see figure). The tube is equipped with carriers such as silicone, fiberglass, and ampoules. Most carriers are impregnated with reagents. The ampoule was filled with a reagent solution, but it broke at the top. The exhaust device is used to suck contaminated air, and there are two types: electric and manual (pump or capsule type). Auxiliary components include head covers, smoke filters, top needles, and heaters for use, as well as sampling shovels and sampling bottles for use in sampling. When using a suction device to suck the contaminated air, the toxic agent entering the tube reacts chemically with the reagent on the carrier, causing a change in the color of the carrier. By comparing with a colorimetric table, the type and approximate concentration of the toxic agent can be determined. With the development and application of high technology, the performance of devices has been greatly improved, and some countries have developed ultra small multifunctional alarm equipment. It can not only detect multiple toxic agents, but also automatically sound an alarm, making it integrated with the alarm system
