1、 Transportation and storage of resin:
Ion exchange resin contains a certain amount of moisture, which should be maintained as much as possible during transportation and storage. If the resin loses water during storage, it should be soaked in concentrated saline water (8-10%) for 1-2 hours before gradually diluting. It should not be directly placed in water to avoid rapid expansion and breakage of the resin. During storage or transportation, the resin should be kept in a temperature environment of 5-40 ℃ to avoid overcooling or overheating, which may affect its quality. If there is no insulation equipment in winter, the resin can be stored in saline solution, and the temperature of the saline solution can be determined according to the temperature.
2、 Pre treatment of new resin:
New resins often contain solvents, substances that have not participated in polymerization reactions, and small amounts of low polymers, and may also adsorb heavy metal ions such as iron, aluminum, and copper. When the resin comes into contact with water, acid, alkali, or other solutions, the soluble impurities mentioned above will be transferred into the solution, contaminating the effluent quality in the early stages of use. So, the new resin needs to be pre treated before being put into operation.

Cation exchange resin boiler water softener resinHow does softened water resin turn hard water into softened water? Water is a vital resource for human survival, daily life, and production activities, and its importance is obvious. However, the increase in industrial pollution has also made the removal of impurities in water particularly important. Jinda softening resin filter plays an important role in softening water in water treatment processes. Today, the editor will explain to you the working principle of resin softening raw water through sodium ion exchange method.
Jinda softened water resin is placed in an internal resin tank inside the water softener, which replaces calcium and magnesium ions in the water as it passes through, commonly known as the "ion exchange softening method". Due to the different requirements for raw water quality and effluent water quality, the exchangers used in ion exchange methods include cations, anions, and combinations of two types of ions.
The Jinda Softening Water Resin Softening Device adopts the principle of ion exchange to remove scaling ions such as calcium and magnesium in water. It is usually an integrated equipment consisting of a controller, resin tank, and salt tank. The controller can be either an automatic flushing controller or a manual flushing controller. The automatic controller can automatically complete the cycle process of soft water, backwashing, regeneration, forward washing, and automatic replenishment of salt tanks. Resin tanks can be selected from fiberglass tanks, carbon steel tanks, or stainless steel tanks. The salt tank is mainly equipped with salt for resin cell and subsequent regeneration.
1. When dismantling Jinda softened water resin, certain skills and sequence are required. It must be done in order. First, remove the inlet and outlet water pipes, sewage pipes, and salt suction pipes, and then remove the control valve head.
2. Extracting the center tube is an important process, but if the diameter of the tank body is greater than 500mm, the center tube does not need to be removed because it will not be contaminated.
3. The use of siphon principle to extract resin is a very scientific method and is highly recommended.
4. Then install the center tube (if removed) and block it with plastic cloth above it to prevent resin from pouring into the center tube and causing blockage.
5. Pour in the resin and install the control valve head to fix the resin.
6. Adjust the control valve to the backwash position (downstream regeneration) and provide a small amount of water while maintaining a constant water flow rate to discharge the gas from the resin tank.
7. Check for any water leakage. If everything is properly installed, then the resin replacement is considered complete.

The utility model provides a cation anion exchange system, comprising a series arranged cation exchange device and an anion exchange device. The cation exchange device is composed of several parallel arranged cation exchange tanks, and the anion exchange device is composed of several parallel arranged anion exchange tanks. The cation exchange tanks are filled with cation resin, and the anion exchange tanks are filled with anion resin; When in use, at least one cation exchange tank in the cation exchange device and at least one anion exchange tank in the anion exchange device are in working state, and other cation exchange tanks and other anion exchange tanks are in standby state. When the anion exchange tank and cation exchange tank in working state are saturated, regeneration is carried out, and at least one cation exchange tank in standby state and at least one of the anion exchange tanks enter working state. Solved the shortcomings of low efficiency and high cost in the current technology of cation exchange systems.
