Overview

The high-frequency microwave pulses emitted by the cable guided wave radar level gauge GDGW51 guided wave radar propagate along the detection component (steel cable or steel rod) and encounter the measured medium, causing a sudden change in dielectric constant and reflection, with a portion of the pulse energy being reflected back. The time interval between the emitted pulse and the reflected pulse is proportional to the distance of the measured medium.
