Product Details

Polar molecules such as CO2 and SO2 have permanent electric dipole moments, thus exhibiting structures such as vibration and rotation. Divided into split energy levels according to quantum mechanics, they can couple with the characteristic wavelength of incident infrared light to produce absorption. Gas molecules have selective absorption spectra in the infrared band, and when specific wavelengths of infrared light pass through CO2 or SO2 gas, they can produce strong light absorption.
Since the detector converts optical signals into electrical signals, when the detector operates in a linear region, selects a specific wavelength and determines the length of the analysis cell (absorption cell), the concentration of the measured gas in the mixed gas can be calculated by measuring the light intensity. This is the basic principle of infrared absorption method for quantitatively measuring gas concentration. The selected measurement wavelengths for this instrument are 4.26um for CO2 and 7.4um for SO2.
The analysis room includes miniature infrared light sources, mirrors, modulation motors, absorption cells, filters, and detectors. The miniature infrared light source is heated to 800 ℃ by electricity to produce infrared light. After being absorbed by CO2 and SO2 in an absorption cell, it is filtered by a narrowband filter to remove the energy of other light radiation outside the above wavelengths. When it is incident on the detector, the detector detects the light intensity corresponding to the concentration of CO2 and SO2. The detector converts it into an electrical signal through photoelectric conversion, which is then normalized and calibrated by a microcomputer, and integrated and inverted into the percentage content of carbon and sulfur elements. A modulation motor is placed between the light source and the absorption cell to modulate the light signal into a 64Hz alternating radiation signal. The center frequency of the detector output is 64Hz.
The thermoelectric device is converted into an electrical signal, which is then amplified in the pre amplification and post amplification stages before entering the microcomputer through digital to analog conversion. In the microcomputer, it is converted into numerical values proportional to the CO2 and SO2 content through linearization operations.
The CS8000 infrared carbon sulfur analyzer is used in conjunction with the HNWF-88 high-frequency induction combustion furnace to quickly and accurately determine the mass fractions of carbon and sulfur elements in steel, iron, alloys, casting core sand, non-ferrous metals, cement, ore, coke, catalysts, and other materials. This equipment has introduced advanced technology from abroad and is a high-tech product that integrates optics, mechanics, electronics, computers, and analysis technology.
