    -Product Overview:

    Hash's new generation CODmax Plus SC chromium method COD online monitoring instrument is a second-generation chromium method COD detection instrument developed by Hash Company based on the user experience and feedback of the previous generation CODmax product, in response to the demand for COD detection instruments in the Chinese market.

    This COD detection instrument can be connected to Hash SC series controllers for better scalability. The optimized internal structure and newly added system functions have further improved the accuracy of testing, and the comparison between online data and laboratory titration data has become more convenient.

    In addition, CODmax Plus SC has spared no effort in improving operational convenience and reducing instrument maintenance. We believe it is the ideal choice for your COD detection instrument.


    -Working principle:

    A mixture of water sample, potassium dichromate, silver sulfate solution (used as a catalyst to oxidize linear aromatic compounds more thoroughly), and concentrated sulfuric acid is heated to 175 ℃ in a digestion tank. During this period, chromium ions are reduced from VI valence to III valence as an oxidant, changing color. The degree of color change corresponds to the content of organic compounds in the sample. The COD detection instrument directly displays the COD of the sample through colorimetric conversion.

    The main interfering substance is chloride, which is removed by adding mercuric sulfate to form a complex.

    -Application industry:

    This COD detection instrument is suitable for online monitoring of water quality COD in pollution source sewage discharge, municipal sewage discharge outlets, and industrial wastewater discharge outlets.


    -Instrument features:

    The combination of classic potassium dichromate oxidation and efficient digestion conforms to the Chinese national standard for chromium based COD testing principle.

    The COD detection instrument is equipped with a precise optical metrology system and has an automatic calibration function for more accurate measurement.

    Can connect hash sc200 and sc1000 controllers, with good scalability.

    Equipped with automatic cleaning function, combined with piston pump technology and corrosion-resistant pipeline design, it has lower maintenance requirements.

    Automatically switch between three ranges of 10~5000mg/L, without the need to determine the range of COD in the water sample.
