Each of our standard laboratory viscometers/Rheometers are equipped with a built-in spring spring for calculating the viscosity of materials. These spring hairspring have different measurement capabilities:

LVSuitable for low viscosity materials, it can measure the thinnest materials. Typical examples include ink, oil, and solvents.
RVSuitable for measuring ratiosLV series is a slightly viscous medium viscosity material. Typical examples include face cream, food and paint.
HASuitable for measuring ratiosRV series materials with higher viscosity. Typical examples include gel, chocolate, and epoxy.
HBSuitable for measurement andHACompared to other series, materials with higher viscosity. Typical examples include asphalt, filler compounds, and molasses.
