Biochip Processing Instrument - UV PRIMTER - Obtaining Ultra Pure SurfaceProduct Introduction

UV printers can dissociate organic molecules through a photosensitive oxidation process, thereby removing organic molecules from the surface. It makes your surface very clean, removing any residues that may affect the surface properties of the sample. It can also be used as a surface activation tool or printing device.

>High power ultraviolet light source

Generate ozone and decompose surface pollutants into volatile compounds.

>Can be used for various surfaces and substrates

Silicon, silicon nitride, diamond, MEMS surface, glass, mica, metal.

>Non destructive methods

No trace, no damage to the sample.

Biochip Processing Instrument - UV PRIMTER - Obtaining Ultra Pure SurfacePrinting micro:

The main application of UV printers related to our products is to print micro patterns on glass substrates (micro pattern glass slides or micro pattern discs). The micro pattern making kit provides lights and all the items needed to obtain micro patterns on glass slides. The following brief process will explain the use of UV printers.

Firstly, apply an anti adhesive agent such as polyethylene glycol (PEG) onto the glass substrate (pre coated glass slides can be provided).
To pattern the surface, a micro patterned photomask is placed on the substrate. It will define the area where cells adhere.
Then, high-energy deep ultraviolet light will damage the exposed areas of the printed pattern.
Afterwards, additional cell matrix (ECM) proteins are loaded onto the treated surface. The anti fouling effect of the patterned coating will cause ECM to only adhere to the damaged area. Therefore, cells will adhere and only reproduce in restricted areas.
