1. The output modes of SD series electric actuators are divided into three types:
(1) Angular stroke - output torque and 90 ° angle.
(2) Straight stroke - output force and linear displacement.
(3) Multi turn - Output torque and multi turn rotation exceeding 360 °.
2. There are two installation methods for SD series electric actuators:
(1) Direct connection type - the actuator is directly connected to the regulating mechanism such as valves through the flange at the output end
(2) Base type - The actuator is installed on a base and connected to regulating mechanisms such as valves through output arms and connecting rods (This installation type is only available for angular travel actuators).
3. The SD series electric actuator adjustment methods are divided into three types:
(1) Proportional adjustment type - The actuator receives 4-20mA or 1-5V analog signals from units such as computers and regulators. The output shaft angle (or displacement) of the actuator is proportional to this signal and automatically completes the adjustment task. Proportional adjustment electric actuators are divided into two types in terms of structure and installation methods. A integral proportional adjustment type, that is, the actuator and the position locator GAMX-20 (commonly known as the amplifier) are assembled into a whole (also known as an electronic type), and the whole machine is installed on site using a split proportional adjustment type. The actuator is also composed of an actuator and a position locator, but the actuator and the position locator GAMX are installed separately,
The actuator part is installed on site, while the position locator is installed indoors or elsewhere. The appearance, usage, and installation samples of the position locator have detailed instructions.
Attention: Integral and discrete external connections are different.
(2) Remote control type - The actuator receives switch signals or relay signals and can remotely control the output angle of the actuator.
(3) Switch type (two position) - The actuator receives switch signals, and the output shaft of the actuator can only be controlled in two positions: on and off.
(4) The integral adjustment type actuator receives pulse signals and adjusts parameters according to the width of the pulse or a certain number of pulses with a certain width. The split type proportional adjustment electric mechanism is actually a remote control type with a separately installed GAMX position locator.
(Here is a special note: regardless of the angle stroke, straight stroke, or multi turn electric actuator, their circuit principles, external wiring, and adjustment methods are the same. When selecting and using them, you should pay more attention to whether the power supply, voltage, installation method, output torque, stroke, and signal meet your requirements.)
