Beifu EL5151 EtherCAT Terminal Module 1 Channel

The EtherCAT interface terminal module EL5151 is used to directly connect an incremental encoder (24V HTL). The other 24V digital input of the module can be used to store or latch the counter status. EL5151 can also be used as an up/down counter, which can directly provide 24V power to the encoder through the terminal module connection point.

Special function:

• Storage, locking, and setting counters

• Integrated frequency and cycle measurement function

• Can be selected as a 24V up/down counter

• Read position values synchronously through distributed clock synchronization

• The timestamp of the incremental edge of the last record

In addition, EL5151 can measure periods and frequencies with a resolution of 100 nanoseconds. Due to its interpolation micro increment function, EL5151 can achieve higher precision dynamic axis positioning. It also supports synchronous reading of encoder values and other input data of the EtherCAT system through high-precision EtherCAT distributed clock (DC). And it can provide the timestamp of the incremental edge of the last record. The motion control application can easily and quickly link to the encoder interface to obtain process data.
