Beifu EL3204 | EtherCAT Terminal Module, 4-channel

The analog input terminal module EL3204 can directly connect four resistance sensors. The measured value can be either a resistance value or a temperature value. If it is necessary to measure the temperature of a point, the resistance value can be converted into a temperature value in the terminal module according to different sensor characteristics (Pt100, Pt1000, NI120, NI1000, KTY type, etc.). EL3204 can be connected to two-wire sensors.EtherCATThe terminal module displays its measurement status through LED and status bits in the EtherCAT process image.

The EtherCAT terminal module has subdivided the number of channels to achieve bit precision for the required I/O channels.

The number of channels for the digital EtherCAT terminal module used to generate and process binary signals can be 2, 4, 8, and 16 channels. In the 16 channel model, the digital input and output signals are compressed into a standard bus terminal module housing with a width of only 12 mm.

The analog input used to process on-site analog signals can handle various measurement variables such as current, voltage, temperature, and resistance. In addition to signal types, different terminal modules also vary in signal resolution and measurement accuracy. In the field of analog output, standard EtherCAT terminal modules in 1, 2, 4, and 8 channel versions can be provided for standard signals such as ± 10 V, 0... 10 V, 10 V, 0... 20 mA, and 4... 20 mA. The EtherCAT terminal module product series also provides comprehensive solutions for special measurement applications such as electrical energy and power measurement, drive control, and analysis of various encoder interfaces.

The EtherCAT terminal module system has various connection options that can be optimized and matched according to specific application requirements. The shell of the ELxxxx series EtherCAT terminal module integrates various electronic components and connection layers. The connection interface is available in 8-pin and 16 pin versions. The 16 channel high-density terminal module has a high channel density and a housing width of only 12 mm. Another type of flat cable interface can increase channel density (such as EL1862). The connection layer of the ESxxxx series EtherCAT terminal module is pluggable, and during maintenance, the pluggable connection layer with all wiring can be removed from the top of the terminal.

The ELMxxxx series EtherCAT measurement terminal module also has a flexible connector front-end that can be equipped with LEMO®、 BNC connector or a replaceable plug-in interface.
