2.1 Application Overview

This machine is suitable for flame resistance testing of lithium batteries (or battery packs). Drill on an experimental platform with a diameter ofA 102mm circular hole is used, and a steel wire mesh is placed on top of the hole. The tested battery is placed on the steel wire mesh sieve, and an octagonal aluminum wire mesh is installed around the sample. Then, the burner is ignited to heat the sample until the battery explodes or burns out, and the combustion process is timed.
