Product Overview

Most of the basements in villa areas are equipped with villa type sewage elevators. Currently, in order to increase the usable area of most ordinary residential buildings, real estate companies also design basements. Therefore, instead of calling them "villa sewage elevators", they are better called "household sewage elevators" or "household sewage elevators". At the beginning, basement drainage in China was designed with a cement brick sump in the basement. Toilet sewage, bathroom sewage, and washbasin sewage were discharged into the sump through pipes on the same floor. Installing two submersible pumps in the water pit is commonly known as the "one pit, two pumps" underground sewage discharge method. The alternating operation of dual pumps ensures the reliability of sewage discharge. But the biggest drawback of this working method is the need to clean and eliminate odors on a regular basis. The basement itself has no windows, so the odor cannot be eliminated. The odor makes the basement unusable. And regular cleaning is also a fatal drawback of this underground drainage method.
Later, with the introduction of sewage elevators from abroad into China, this "one pit, two pumps" underground drainage method was gradually replaced by sewage elevators. The biggest feature of this villa type sewage elevator is that it has no odor and is free from cleaning. However, due to its small capacity, frequent starting of the water pump has made its reliability a challenge. The working principle of most sewage elevators is to place a single-phase water pump in a small container. The control of the small water pump is controlled by an air pressure switch. The drainage from underground toilets, washbasins, bathrooms, etc. flows into the sewage elevator box, and then the sewage is lifted to the outside by the water pump in the sewage elevator.

Terms of Use

1) Improvement of ordinary domestic sewage and wastewater. For newly constructed buildings, the construction waste in the sewage pipeline must be cleared before use.
2) The pH range of sewage and wastewater is 4-10.
3) The temperature of sewage and wastewater shall not exceed 40 ℃.

working principle

   The fully automatic basement sewage discharge equipment mainly consists of a collection (sewage) tank, a lifting pump, an auxiliary sewage pump, a control cabinet, and corresponding filters, pipelines, valves, etc.
   Control cabinet programming control, fully automatic operation, no need for personnel to be on duty, lifting pumps 1 and 2 are mutually standby and operate in rotation. When the device malfunctions, the alarm system will automatically start, the alarm indicator light will flash, and an alarm will sound to remind the on duty personnel. In addition, there is a manual operation system on the control cabinet that can manually start and stop the water pump on site. In addition to the dual pump configuration, the equipment also has single pump and four pump configurations.

Solution

According to the Residential Design Code, the drainage pipes of sanitary appliances and floor drains in basements and semi basements that are lower than the outdoor ground level should not be connected to the upper drainage pipes, and a collection pit should be set up to discharge sewage with a sewage pump.
The commonly used solutions now are:
1. Adopting the traditional method of configuring sewage pumps with collection pits.
2. Adopting an integrated closed sewage lifting device for discharge.
Traditional sump drainage method
Waste and sewage enter the collection pit through the drainage pipeline. After reaching a certain water level in the collection pit, the sewage is lifted and transported to the municipal pipeline network through the sewage pump. However, this traditional emission method has many problems:
1. Pollution of the natural environment
Sewage infiltration, corrosion of soil layers, pollution of nearby land and water layers; During floods, dirty water overflows and pollutes the surrounding environment.
2. Affects the living environment
It is difficult to achieve good sealing of the water collection pit, and there may be odors overflowing, affecting the surrounding environment; There will be hygiene blind spots in the collection pit, causing the accumulation of pollutants, which can easily attract mosquitoes and spread diseases during the rainy and summer seasons.
3. Threatening personal safety
Long term placement of sewage pumps in the sump can cause corrosion and rust, and harmful gases can also be produced in the sump, posing a threat to the safety and health of maintenance personnel.
4. Large space occupation and high construction cost
The water supply and drainage regulations stipulate that the effective volume of the collection pit for installing sewage pumps should not be less than the maximum 5-minute water output of one sewage pump. Therefore, the collection pit is more used for water storage, and its volume will be relatively large, which not only occupies a lot of space but also consumes high civil engineering costs. Moreover, if the sewage pump encounters problems that require maintenance, it needs to be removed from the large collection pit, which poses certain difficulties for maintenance work.
5. Sewage pumps and their maintenance costs are high
The water supply and drainage regulations stipulate that "sewage pumps should not be started more than 6 times per hour", so sewage pumps have to choose a larger flow range to reduce the number of starts and increase the initial equipment investment. At the same time, the long-term operation and maintenance costs of specialized tools and lifting equipment used for installation and maintenance are also relatively high.
Imported integrated closed sewage lifting device
Working principle: Wastewater flows into the water collection tank through the inlet of the entire equipment, and when it reaches the starting water level of the equipment, the equipment automatically starts to lift and discharge the wastewater into the municipal pipeline network.
In the sewage lifting device, the collection tank replaces the traditional collection pit. Except for the inlet, outlet, and ventilation ports, the water collection tank is completely sealed, waterproof, and odor proof, so the sewage in the water collection tank does not come into contact with the soil, and odors will not diffuse in the equipment room due to leakage, thus completely avoiding pollution to the natural environment and providing a relatively comfortable working space for maintenance and repair personnel.
The volume of the water collection tank is much smaller than that of traditional water collection pits. In the sewage lifting device, the function of the water collection tank is no longer to store water, but to "overflow"; The water pump supporting the sewage lifting device can start and stop frequently with stable performance.
Once the overflow sewage in the collection tank reaches the set liquid level, the water pump will start to lift and discharge the sewage. It is difficult for the sewage to accumulate in the collection tank, reducing the generation of odors. At the same time, the sewage lifting device adopts a fully enclosed structure, so there will be no odor leakage. The normal exhaust is discharged outdoors through the ventilation pipe, which will not affect people's living and living environment.
The materials of the water collecting tank of the sewage lifting device are generally corrosion resistant, anti-aging, and have a long service life, reducing the risk of customers paying additional maintenance costs and repeated procurement.
Due to the significant reduction in the volume of the water collection tank and the use of external installation for water pumps, the maintenance and repair of the sewage lifting device have become simple and easy to operate, which has also correspondingly reduced related costs.
