GNST-BOD221 is a dual beam probe type BOD intelligent sensor that effectively reduces turbidity interference through compensation. It comes with a cleaning brush to avoid the influence of attachments and bubbles on measurement. The sensor adopts RS485 interface and standard Modbus protocol, and the measurement data can be converted into COD, BOD, TOC, etc., quickly reflecting changes in the water body.

Measurement principle

The UV absorption spectrum of water has a good correlation with organic pollutants in the water, and the absorption of specific wavelengths of ultraviolet light by the concentration of organic pollutants follows the Lambert Beer law.
