BAG05x thermal ionization vacuum gauges BAG050, BAG051, BAG052, and BAG053 are designed for use with INFICON vacuum gauge controllers VGC083A and VGC083B. Yttrium oxide coated iridium wire is suitable for general vacuum applications in air and inert gases, such as N2 and argon. If the gas is incompatible with yttrium oxide coated iridium wire, choose tungsten wire for it. The BAG05x vacuum gauge can also be operated using compatible vacuum gauge controllers produced by other manufacturers.

BAG05x Thermal Ionization Vacuum Gauge

The INFICON Bayard Alpert passive vacuum gauge heads BAG050, BAG051, BAG052, and BAG053 are designed for use with the INFICON vacuum gauge controllers VGC083A and VGC083B. Yttrium oxide coated iridium wire is suitable for general vacuum applications in air and inert gases, such as N2 and argon. If the gas is incompatible with yttrium oxide coated iridium wire, choose tungsten wire for it. The BAG05x vacuum gauge can also be operated using compatible vacuum gauge controllers produced by other manufacturers. The INFICON passive Bayard Alpert ionization vacuum gauge (BAG05x) can be configured in three different ways:

BAG050 belongs to the EB degassing UHV naked ionization vacuum gauge, which can measure pressures as low as 2 × 10-11 Torr.

BAG051 belongs to the resistive degassing (I2R) naked ionization vacuum gauge, which can measure pressures as low as 4 × 10-10 Torr.

BAG052 and BAG053 belong to resistive degassing (I2R) glass encapsulated ionization vacuum gauges, capable of measuring pressures as low as 4 × 10-10 Torr.
