inAutomation of organoid cultureIn the field of 3D spheroid culture, both production and scientific research processes such as microsphere transfer face difficulties in high throughput and unstable parallel operations. Therefore, the importance of automated pipetting workstations in this field is becoming increasingly prominent. Automated workstations can greatly improve the accuracy, speed, and integrity of 3D organoid manipulation and protection. Automated pipetting workstations can achieve precise transfer and distribution of liquids and spheres through precise mechanical control, thereby avoiding errors and accidental damage that may occur during manual operations, which is of great significance for the protection and integrity of 3D organoids/spheres. At the same time, due to the high degree of automation of the workstation, a large number of parallel experiments can be completed in a short period of time, greatly improving the efficiency of experiments and production. However, due to the unique morphology of organoid cell clusters, conventional automated pipetting techniques often encounter difficulties during the transfer process.
Channels used in organoid applications: 5mL pipettes meet the requirements of ultra large volume operations - large volume pipettes provide greater blowing force to suspend solidified gel.
