3Basic principles and requirements of instruments

3.1Technical principle: After the sample is irradiated with X-rays, the inner shell electrons of the element are excited, causing an electronic energy level transition and emitting the characteristic X-ray fluorescence of the element. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of elements can be carried out by measuring the intensity of characteristic X-ray fluorescence emitted by the elements in the sample.

3.6 Sample Processing and Loading: After the grain samples are roughened and crushed, they can be directly tested by loading them into a sample cup. Sample loading is simple and convenient, without the need for consumables such as testing films, and the sample cup can be recycled.

6Radiation safety performance of the instrument:

6.1 The instrument has no radiation leakage during use, ensuring radiation safety and meeting the following requirements:

(1) Safety measures: The X-ray tube does not work when the sample chamber cover is not closed, ensuring the safety and operation of the testing personnel;

(2) There is a hardware design that guarantees no radiation leakage, and the radiation level during operation is much lower than international safety standards, with no radiation leakage;

(3) Hardware linkage device can still control the equipment in case of software failure, ensuring the personal and environmental safety of the equipment during use;

6.2 High level of product radiation protection: A third-party testing institution authorized by the state issues a safety (radiation dose) test report for the instrument when the tube voltage is ≥ 65kV.
