Overview
The atmospheric particulate matter oxidation potential analyzer is obtained by measuring the DTT (dithiothreitol) oxidation potential. The correlation between DTT oxidation potential and HO-1 gene expression is very good, which can be used to characterize the oxidative damage ability of particulate matter. DTT in the atmosphere is collected through saturated vapor adsorption and condensation, and under specific temperature and pH conditions, it produces DTB with a specific absorption spectrum in the 412nm wavelength band together with DTNB. By measuring the slope of the absorbance change of DTB within 40 minutes, the oxidation potential value of atmospheric particulate matter can be obtained.

Measuring atmospheric oxidation potential provides crucial data support for studying the impact of the atmosphere on human respiratory and blood health. Based on numerous studies both domestically and internationally, we have obtained analytical data on particulate matter in the atmosphere, which will help us establish relationships for future research on population health. It can make research more microscopic.
