Product Introduction

PANs (peroxyl nitrate compounds) are generated by the reaction of some volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the atmosphere. They are important oxidants in the atmosphere and are all generated by photochemical reactions. Therefore, they can be used as photochemical indicators for VOCs NOx.

PANs-3000Atmospheric PANs online monitoring systemAdopting the GC-ECD principle, its basic configuration includes PANs analyzer, PAN calibrator, built-in industrial computer, and gas source. PAN standard gas is generated by a mixture of acetone and nitric oxide under ultraviolet light irradiation. After gas chromatography separation of ambient air or standard gas in a capillary column, the concentration of PANs is quantified by the output electrical signal detected by an electron capture detector (ECD).
