-Product Overview:
The Amtax Inter2C ammonia nitrogen monitor complies with the national standard (HJ536-2009) detection method and has the advantages of fast response speed, user-friendly operation, and wide range of measurement.
-Working principle:
Salicylic acid indophenol blue method (compliant with DIN 38406 E5 and HJ536-2009 standards). Under the action of a catalyst, NH4+reacts with hypochlorite ions and salicylate ions in an alkaline medium with a pH of 12.6 to form indophenol compounds, which appear green. Within the measurement range of the instrument, the degree of color change is directly proportional to the concentration of NH4+in the sample. Therefore, by measuring the degree of color change, the concentration of NH4+in the sample can be calculated.
-Application industry:
Used for online monitoring of ammonia nitrogen concentration in the inflow and outflow of sewage treatment plants.
-Instrument features:
Can measure NH4+ion concentration in water using a dual beam and dual filter photometer. By measuring the reference beam, the instrument eliminates the interference of factors such as turbidity and power supply fluctuations in the sample on the measurement results.
The measured values can be displayed in graphical or numerical form.
