This instrument uses Nessler's colorimetric method to measure ammonia nitrogen in water, which has the characteristics of easy operation and high sensitivity. The principle is that ammonia nitrogen, which exists in the form of free ammonia or ammonium ions, reacts with sodium reagent to form a yellow brown complex, and the color of the complex is proportional to the content of ammonia nitrogen. The instrument is widely used for measuring water quality such as surface water, industrial wastewater, and domestic sewage.
