2、 Advantages

1. High precision and high stability measurement

In order to ensure the stability and accuracy of the measurement, the ModelBased Sensor uses a digital force sensor independently developed and manufactured by A&D to determine the rolling resistance measurement performance in the equipment. This sensor can minimize the impact of vibration during measurement to achieve high-precision and high stability measurements.

2. Security

This equipment is equipped with a roof shaped outer cover at the tire testing location to prevent personnel from entering during the testing process, ensuring high safety. Moreover, the outer cover is equipped with high-precision air conditioning, which can accurately control the air temperature at the tire testing position.

The air conditioner can be prepared by the customer or purchased from the air conditioner recommended by our company.

3、 High precision force sensor

A conventional force sensor involves setting up six sets of bridge circuits corresponding to six force components within the sensor for composite calculation, followed by one interference correction. The force sensor of A&D is equipped with bridge circuits at 8 different positions, which convert the strain output voltage signal of the bridge circuit into a digital signal, and then perform DSP simulation through DSP equipment图片2.pngAfter processing and synthesizing signals from 8 bridges, output 6 force components. Due to the use of DSP devices in synthesis calculations, high-order term operations can be performed on sensor models to achieve high-precision synthesis calculations. Moreover, the shape of the elastic body has been changed from the previous four corner section to the I-section used for strain pressure sensors, which can design the most appropriate stress matching according to the detection direction. After the 8 signals of the strain gauges are amplified by the dynamic strain amplifier, they enter the DSP processing device and then undergo analog-to-digital conversion through the A/D input board. Based on the mutual relationship between the signals and our company'sPerform DSP calculations on the parameters and finally obtain the six component force. The calculation frequency is 1kHz (1msec). The force sensor installed on this device ensures the values of Fz (load) and Fx (rolling resistance), enabling professional measurement of rolling resistance.

4、 Highly scalable software

The standard configuration of this device can be used for testing in accordance with ISO28580 specifications. All software for this device is created using MATLAB SIimlink, which has good scalability and can be flexibly changed according to customer requirements in the future.

5、 Example of actual measurement data using standard tires according to ISO2850 regulations

This is the result of conducting three tests of forward and reverse rotation using standard tires. Both forward and reverse rotations have high reproducibility, with a standard deviation (σ) of ≤ 0.05N/kN.
