280FS AA flame atomic absorption spectrometerCombining fast sequence design with 8-light position design results in excellent instrument performance and lower operating costs. It has a fully automatic deuterium lamp background correction function. The 280FS AA is controlled by our highly acclaimed Windows based worksheet software. Through the multitasking function, users can start a new analysis while editing and outputting reports of the measured results. The universal Mark 7 atomization chamber includes standard O-rings or is replaced with organic solvent compatible O-rings suitable for all organic solvents. The 240FS AA can expand instrument performance by installing the full range of Agilent AA accessories.

Systems manufactured using premium optical components achieve optimal performance, designed specifically for laboratories that desire optimal performance
One injection can determine the concentration of all elements, thereby shortening the analysis time
The determination of 10 elements in each sample can be completed in less than 2 minutes without affecting the data quality, thus obtaining accurate results
Improve accuracy and precision by correcting physical differences, sample pre-processing errors, or drift through online internal standards
The use of UltrAA lamps can increase sensitivity by 40% while reducing noise and lowering detection limits
Simplify analysis and adopt SpectraAA's comprehensive method manual to make method development more convenient and smooth
Performance tuning of flame atomic absorption spectrometer using Mark 7 atomization system
The Mark 7 atomization system can achieve high sensitivity of 5 mg/L Cu, typically greater than 0.9 Abs
Working Principle:
The fast sequence (FS) mode on Agilent 240FS and 280FS atomic absorption spectrometers simplifies your flame atomic absorption analysis, saving time and reducing gas consumption. In traditional atomic absorption, only one element is measured at a time, while the FS mode changes the analysis sequence and measures the elements inhaled at once, improving the efficiency of the workflow.
The Agilent 240FS and 280FS atomic absorption technologies enable FS mode without the need for additional accessories.
Only 10 mL of sample is needed to measure 10 elements in 2 minutes.

The Agilent 240FS and 280FS atomic absorption systems have Precision Optimized Measurement Time (PROMT) mode, which helps operators set the accuracy of sample results to the specific level they need. Optimized the sample reading time, and compared to low concentration elements, high concentration elements require a shorter reading time to achieve the same level of accuracy. This feature can increase throughput, avoid wasting time, and reduce the consumption of expensive gases without affecting accuracy.

Agilent's Sample Introduction Pump System (SIPS) can automatically achieve sample pretreatment, improve analysis efficiency, reduce labor costs, and optimize the analysis workflow of flame atomic absorption spectroscopy analysis.
SIPS 10 can accurately and automatically prepare calibration standards using a single reserve solution. It can automatically perform online dilution up to 200 times according to regulations and beyond the range, RSD < 2%。 SIPS 20 has expanded its functionality to support automatic addition of standard samples, modifiers, or internal standard solutions.
