An analytical ultra-high performance liquid chromatography instrument. The system operates under high pressure and can use flow rates of up to 5 mL/min, using sub 2 µ m packed UHPLC chromatography columns. This HPLC/UHPLC system can give you confidence in HPLC results and is an ideal front-end for LC/MS systems. This quaternary UHPLC system provides a wide range of detection options for routine HPLC analysis.

No solvent depletion will occur again: Agilent InfinityLab level sensing can monitor the liquid level in the solvent bottle, predict whether there is enough mobile phase for the next sequence, and issue a reminder when the liquid level is insufficient, avoiding costly reanalysis.

Easy positioning of sample bottles: The Agilent InfinityLab sample ID reader allows the instrument to locate samples without manually entering the position of the sample bottle, further enhancing reliability. The instrument system will automatically confirm the sample ID and bottle position for you.

Simplified HPLC workflow: The 1260 Infinity III universal pump provides accurate gradient performance, as well as flow rates of up to 5 mL/min and a pressure range of 800 bar. The built-in Agilent Intelligent System Simulation Technology (ISET) ensures seamless method transfer between HPLC/UHPLC systems of other brands. The BlendAssist software, based on pump driven functionality, can be used in conjunction with the 1260 Infinity III universal pump to accurately mix buffer/additives without the need for manual intervention. Use the built-in multifunctional valve to flush the instrument through control software.

Ultra low cross contamination: The 1260 Infinity III Multisampler with a rated pressure of 800 bar has multiple cleaning functions, which can clean the relevant injection components between runs. The needle holder recoil program is used to flush the outside of the injection needle with three solvents, reducing cross contamination to below 10 ppm.

Efficient sample processing: The 1260 Infinity III Multisampler features shallow microplate drawers that can accommodate 16 microplates, or 6144 samples, with a capacity far exceeding any existing system.

Efficient HPLC column operation/temperature control: The 1260 Infinity III high-capacity column incubator allows for quick replacement of switching valves through InfinityLab Quick Change while connecting four chromatography columns without disconnecting the flow path.

Multiple detectors are available: 1260 Infinity III diode array detector (DAD), variable wavelength detector (VWD) can be selected, and for special applications, fluorescence detector (FLD), differential refractive index detector (RID), or evaporative light scattering detector (ELSD) can also be used.
