287B conducts manual or automatic attenuation and balance tests on ionization equipment. Then, it stores the results and average decay time for up to 10 manual tests and 10 complete automated test sequences. Real time display of temperature and relative humidity, and recording using test data.
All instrument functions are controlled by four buttons
In attenuation mode, a built-in high-voltage source charges the charging board with a voltage exceeding 1050V. During the testing process, when there is ionization, the electrode plate will discharge towards zero. The decay time displays the time it takes for the voltage to drop from 1000 V to 100 V.
