Key Features

The 754/754PLUS multifunctional process calibrator supports commands included in the HART protocol version 5.7. With 2 MB of memory, 754/754PLUS can support a large number of HART commands:

• General commands - provide functions to be executed across all field devices, such as reading manufacturer and device type, reading primary variable (PV), or reading current output and span percentage.

• Common Practice Commands - Provide most (but not all) of the commonly used functions for field devices, such as reading multiple variables, setting decay times, or performing loop tests.

• Device specific commands - provide unique functions unique to specific field devices, such as sensor adjustment.

Supported HART operating modes

• Point to point operation is a commonly used mode that connects 754/754PLUS to a single HART device in a 4-20 mA loop.

• In the multi branch structure mode, multiple HART instruments can be combined together. The 754/754PLUS multifunctional process calibrator searches for each instrument, identifies the address in use, and then allows you to select the instrument to be calibrated and related operations.

• In burst mode, the HART instrument transmits data bursts without waiting for inquiries from the main unit. During testing or calibration, 754/754PLUS can take the transmitters out of burst mode and then restore them to burst mode.

It can be used under almost any pressure measurement application conditions, including gauge pressure, differential pressure, dual pressure (composite), paired pressure, and vacuum pressure.

• Display pressure readings in any pressure unit (up to 10 types) specified by you when setting up the calibrator.

• The sturdy polyurethane injection molded casing of the thermal signal calibrator can protect the module, making it withstand rough handling and harsh working environments.

• It has an internal temperature compensation function from 0 º C to 50 º C, ensuring accurate measurement at all times.

• The module can be calibrated locally, which helps to control costs.

29 optional pressure module series can provide pressure calibration and measurement functions. The basic accuracy specification of 28 modules reaches 0.05%. Automation program for thermal signal calibrator

Allow for quick setting of powerful automatic calibration programs for linear transmitters, DP flow transmitters, and single and double point limit switches. Just select the appropriate measurement and/or output function and fill in the program template. The rest is completed by the 754/754PLUS series. It can quickly perform testing, calculate errors, and display final results, while highlighting tolerance points.

Custom Units

Allow you to map one unit to another, such as mapping mV to º C or º F. Allow you to use the Fluke 754/754PLUS multifunctional process calibrator series with millivolt level output accessories (such as the Fluke 80T-IR temperature detector), and also record tests in unsupported units (such as parts per million or revolutions per minute).

User input value

Enable technicians to record calibration results output and/or measured by other devices (such as panel instruments or devices that can only read).

Limit switch calibration

The program performs fast and automated calibration for single point and double point limit switches for voltage, current, temperature, and pressure.

Calibration of differential pressure flow meter

The conventional process uses the square root function to directly calibrate DP flow meters.

Record and archive the results of the thermal signal calibrator

The Fluke 754/754PLUS multifunctional process calibrator can capture calibration results without the need for on-site paper and pen recording, thus helping you comply with ISO-9000 or other regulatory standards. Through the RS-232 interface, you can transmit the results to a PC without having to manually transcribe them after returning to the workshop, saving a lot of time.
