Overview
The adiabatic acceleration calorimeter (ARC) provides an approximately adiabatic environment by accurately tracking temperature and avoiding heat exchange between the tested sample and the environment, mainly for testing and analyzing the exothermic behavior of the tested sample. By using an accelerated calorimeter, it is possible to simulate the thermal characteristics of the exothermic reaction process when the internal heat of the battery cannot be dissipated in a timely manner, making the reaction closer to the real reaction process and obtaining the kinetic parameters of the apparent exothermic reaction under thermal runaway conditions. ARC is mainly used as a calorimeter to test the thermal runaway characteristics of large capacity power batteries. In addition to the thermal runaway characteristics, this calorimeter can also test other thermal properties of large capacity power batteries
