AccuRad PRD-SIM Kit (Passive Training Kit)

Practical exercises for radiation or nuclear testing and related responses can be conducted without the risk and burden of actual radioactive materials.

Even with passive training, all functions of AccuRad PRD can be used:

1. AccuRad PRD-SIM is capable of simulating all radiation levels detected by AccuRad PRD detectors, including normal background radiation to nuclear accidents;

2. When used in conjunction with the PlumeSIM module (optional extension), it can simulate a wider range of radiation distributions, including dynamic radiation plumes, deposition distribution of radioactive materials, and radiation hotspots;

3. Can enable the entire organization, including on-site monitoring personnel, radiation safety experts, and operational managers, to effectively communicate and coordinate through the AccuRad application in real radiation monitoring or emergency events;

4. The kit includes a quick guide with training scenarios for trainers, describing different situations, implementation details on how to set up equipment, and training objectives for learners;

5. The kit includes AccuRad SIM units and radiation simulation sources, allowing the entire team to practice together. In addition, multiple suites can be combined to create complex scenarios that are more suitable for large monitoring teams, thereby providing higher-level training and simulation;

6. PlumeSIM uses plume, settling, and hotspot models to create large-scale CBRNe (chemical, biological, radiation, and nuclear) response exercises. Trainers can create real-life scenarios and change conditions such as wind speed and rainfall (optional extensions).
