The Aalborg Gas Mass Flow Controller GFC series is used for measuring and controlling gas mass flow. The shell of this product is sturdy and durable, with high * * degree, making it a multifunctional and economical flow product. Optional aluminum or stainless steel casing, optional display of engineering units (standard) or percentages. The built-in electromagnetic proportional valve can control the set flow rate. This valve is a normally closed valve and will automatically close when there is an unexpected power outage.

The GFC series is used for measuring and controlling gas mass flow rate. The shell of this product is sturdy and durable, with high * * degree, making it a multifunctional and economical flow control product.

Optional aluminum or stainless steel casing, optional display of engineering units (standard) or percentages. The built-in electromagnetic proportional valve can control the set flow rate. This valve is a normally closed valve and will automatically close when there is an unexpected power outage. The set point can be controlled locally or externally.

Equipped with an LCD display module placed on top of the sensor, this display module can be tilted more than 90 degrees for easy reading. It can be connected to the sensor using a standard plug or installed separately and independently. OEM applications can provide products without LCD display.

IIAalborg gas mass flow controllerOperating principle:

The measured gas flows through two laminar flow zones, one through the main flow pipeline and the other through a capillary measuring tube.

The design of the two pipelines ensures that the fluid is in laminar flow, so the flow ratio of the two pipelines is constant.

Two precision temperature sensing windings are heated on the measuring tube. When a flow rate is generated, the heated gas carries away heat from the upstream to the downstream sensing winding. The temperature difference and the change in resistance of the induction coil are proportional.

The resistance value of the measured winding is linearly proportional to the instantaneous flow rate, and a Wheatstone bridge is used to detect the resistance change of the measured winding.

Output 0-5VDC or 4-20mA signal based on the mass flow rate of the measured gas.

The gas mixed in two laminar flow zones flows through a specific aperture electromagnetic proportional valve, and the mass flow measurement and electromagnetic proportional valve form a closed-loop control system to stabilize the flow rate at the set flow value.

Changes in temperature and pressure within a certain range will not affect the flow rate.
