The provided pump has port D2 open and port D1 plugged. Before installation, the pump should be filled with at least 3/4 of its volume of hydraulic oil and kept in a horizontal position. In addition to installing the pump below the oil level, we also recommend inserting a baffle between the inlet and outlet ports.
