The pressure used in water jacket carbon dioxide incubators is generally not very high, and incubators are very delicate. Therefore, it is necessary to first adjust the pressure at the outlet of the pressure reducing valve before connecting the incubator. After installing the carbon dioxide pressure reducing valve of Chuanyi Instrument on the steel cylinder, turn the main switch of the steel cylinder counterclockwise. The pressure inside the steel cylinder is displayed on the gauge on the right side of the pressure reducing valve. Observe the reading of the high-pressure gauge and record the pressure of carbon dioxide inside the high-pressure cylinder. If the pressure is very low, it indicates that the amount of carbon dioxide is small and needs to be refilled with carbon dioxide. After the pressure is normal, insert the adjusting handwheel of the pressure reducing valve that was configured at the factory into the protruding hole on the front of the pressure reducing valve. Slowly rotate the adjusting screw of the pressure reducing valve clockwise to compress the main spring and open the valve. The gauge on the left side of the pressure reducing valve displays the exhaust pressure. In this way, the high-pressure gas from the inlet enters the low-pressure. In general, the pressure required for a carbon dioxide incubator is in the range of 0.03Mpa to 0.06Mpa, and it can also be used up to 0.1Mpa, depending on the actual situation. Carefully check if there is any air leakage at the connection point, apply soap solution to the connection for inspection, adjust the connection if there are bubbles, and conduct the experiment after confirming that there is no air leakage. After use, turn off the main switch of the steel cylinder clockwise first, and then loosen the pressure reducing valve counterclockwise.
